Advocacy Mission 2009
Mission Accomplished!
On September 13-14, 2009 Young Leaders from around the country convened in our nation's capital to advocate on behalf of refugees and asylum seekers, the DREAM Act for undocumented minors, and families separated by the broken immigration system.
Young Leaders met with White House officials, lobbied the offices of nine different members of the House of Representatives, and joined HIAS' national Board of Directors for briefings by the UNHCR.
